Director Charles Blevins

Charles Blevins was sworn in as the Director of the New Lyons State Bureau of Investigation in January of 2022.

A native of New Lyons, Blevins graduated from the University of New Lyons with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Blevins began his law enforcement career with the New Lyons City Police Department in 1995, where he served in various roles including patrol officer, detective, and sergeant.

In 2005, he joined the NLSBI and graduated from the 22nd Special Agent Academy. As an NLSBI agent, Blevins worked primarily in the Organized Crime Division, leading investigations into drug trafficking, racketeering, and corruption.

He was promoted to Assistant Special Agent in Charge in 2012 and Special Agent in Charge in 2015. In 2018, Blevins was named Assistant Director of the Criminal Investigations Division, overseeing major cases across the state.

His leadership and investigative skills earned him the respect of his colleagues and law enforcement partners.

Blevins is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Senior Management Institute for Police. As Director, he is committed to upholding the NLSBI's mission of protecting the people of New Lyons through excellence in criminal investigations.

Assistant Director William Delahunt

William Delahunt was named Assistant Director of the New Lyons State Bureau of Investigation in August of 2024.

Delahunt began his career as a patrol officer in the New Lyons Police Department in 1985. He quickly rose through the ranks, serving as a detective, sergeant, and lieutenant.

In 2000, Delahunt was appointed as the Chief of Police of the NLPD. During his tenure, he implemented several successful community policing initiatives and worked to build trust between the department and the citizens of New Lyons.

Delahunt joined the NLSBI in 2010 as a Special Agent in the Public Corruption Unit. He led several high-profile investigations that resulted in the conviction of corrupt public officials.

In 2018, Delahunt was promoted to Special Agent in Charge of the Public Corruption Unit. He continued to serve with distinction, earning numerous commendations for his work.

As Assistant Director, Delahunt oversees the NLSBI's Intelligence and Criminal Investigations Division. He brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the challenges facing modern law enforcement.

Training Divison Manager Trevor Bennett

Trevor Bennett was named Training Division Manager at the New Lyons State Bureau of Investigation in March of 2023.

Bennett graduated from the New Lyons Institute of Technology with a doctorate in computer science.

Bennett began his career with the NLSBI in 2020 as a cybercrime analyst in the High Tech Crimes Unit. He developed several groundbreaking tools and techniques for investigating complex cyber crimes. In 2022, Bennett was promoted to Senior Analyst and tasked with developing the NLSBI's next-generation database, the Classified Operations Database & Intelligence System (CODIS).

He has also worked closely with experienced agents to design a next-generation cybercrime training program, whose curriculum combines cutting-edge technology with proven investigative strategies.

As Training Division Manager, Bennett oversees the implementation of this new training program inside CODIS.

He is committed to ensuring that all NLSBI agents have the skills and knowledge they need to combat the ever-evolving landscape of crime.

Under Bennett's leadership, the NLSBI Training Division is poised to become a national model for law enforcement education.

His unique perspective and innovative thinking make him an invaluable asset to the bureau.
